SINOPSI

Only on Earth ens porta en un viatge immersiu i visualment impressionant pel sud de Galícia, una de les zones d’Europa més vulnerables als incendis forestals. Durant l’estiu més calorós de la història, tant humans com animals lluiten per sobreviure mentre els incendis incontrolables s’acosten. Els cavalls salvatges han habitat les muntanyes gallegues durant segles, i han exercit un paper crucial en la prevenció d’incendis, ja que controlen la vegetació inflamable. Però el seu nombre està disminuint a causa del conflicte entre el desenvolupament humà i la natura. A través dels ulls dels cavalls, un jove ramader, un experimentat analista d’incendis, una veterinària equina i una família de pagesos, el documental reflexiona sobre el fràgil equilibri del nostre món natural i sobre les relacions entre humans i animals.
