After a powerful Polish premiere, the film was recognized by the festival jury for its poetic and urgent exploration of our rapidly changing relationship with nature. Set in the fire-prone mountains of southern Galicia, Only on Earth<\/em> immerses viewers in the lived experience of both humans and wild animals as they navigate life amid record-breaking heat and devastating wildfires.<\/p>\n

The film was praised for its deeply sensory approach and powerful storytelling, offering a rare and intimate look at a region on the frontlines of climate transformation. The Cinematography Jury highlighted how the film\u2019s visual language acts \u201clike an animal\u2014revealing what is hidden from view,\u201d capturing \u201cthe quiet beauty of human helplessness\u201d and asking, with quiet urgency: What future remains for us on this planet?<\/em><\/p>\n
