In an online world fueled by clicks and algorithms, the film uncovers how digital platforms profit from lies, scams, and viral deceit\u2014at the expense of truth.<\/p>\n<p>The award was collected at the closing ceremony of <strong>DocsBarcelona<\/strong> by director Peter Porta and producer Carles Brugueras, co-founder of Polar Star Films. It\u2019s a moment of great pride for the entire team behind the documentary, whose hard work, research, and commitment to critical storytelling have been recognized on this important stage.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re honored to stand alongside fellow winners <strong>\u201cMegamix Brutal\u201d<\/strong>, directed by Rafa de los Arcos and produced by Del Barrio Producciones for Som3cat, La2, and RTVE Play, which received the award for <strong>Best Documentary Series<\/strong>.
