Being on the verge of disappearance due to the invasion of neighboring kingdoms, Yusuf I, the Sultan of Granada, activates the project of construction of a building that could resurrect the glory of his civilization and leave a mark for posterity: the palaces of the Alhambra. His vizier, Ibn al-Khatib (Amr Waked), a poet and genius ahead of his time, participates in this complex construction challenge. But everything screwed up when the sultan\u2019s son, Muhammad V, inherits the throne and involves him in his new reigning policies. The vizier will be torn between the ideas of his old world and the new one that is being born.
