{"id":3343,"date":"2018-09-03T19:55:07","date_gmt":"2018-09-03T17:55:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldbrainthefilm.com\/_POLARSTARFILMS2020\/?p=3343"},"modified":"2021-04-07T14:00:13","modified_gmt":"2021-04-07T12:00:13","slug":"facing-the-wind-selected-at-san-sebastian-film-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polarstarfilms.com\/en\/facing-the-wind-selected-at-san-sebastian-film-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Facing the Wind selected at San Sebastian Film Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re delighted to announce that\u00a0<em>Facing the Wind<\/em>\u00a0(<em>Con el viento<\/em>) has been selected for the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fomentosansebastian.eus\/filmcommission\/noticias_detalle.php?idn=438\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">San Sebasti\u00e1n-Gipuzkoa Film Commission Award<\/a> <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.polarstarfilms.com\/img\/4news\/CON-EL-VIENTO_05_PSF_Elena-Martin_Monica-Garcia_web.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>at the forthcoming 66th edition of the San Sebastian International Film Festival this month.\u00a0 After winning awards at Malaga and D&#8217;A, as well as showing at 11 festivals world-wide so far including the Berlinale, the film reaches SSIFF, one of the world\u2019s most important international film festivals.\u00a0\u00a0<em>Facing the Wind<\/em>\u00a0will be showing in the selection \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansebastianfestival.com\/2018\/sections_and_films\/made_in_spain\/8\/in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Made in Spain<\/a>\u201d alongside ten other productions including films by Daniel Calparsoro, Isabel Coixet, \u00c1lex de la Iglesia, Ram\u00f3n Salazar and David Trueba.<\/p>\n<p><em>Facing the Wind<\/em>\u00a0is Meritxell Colell\u2019s feature film debut and was shot entirely on location in Spain and Argentina.
