The film premiered at the Berlinale 2018, where it captivated audiences and critics, and went on to be released in cinemas in November of the same year. Amongst the prizes awarded to\u00a0<em>Facing the Wind<\/em>\u00a0are the\u00a0<strong>Silver Biznaga for Best Film at the Malaga Festival\u00a0<\/strong>and the\u00a0<strong>Talents Prize Special Mention at D\u2019A Festival<\/strong>\u00a0in Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>Now the film\u2019s director, Meritxell Colell, has a new project underway,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marchedufilm.com\/en\/goes-to-cannes\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>DUO<\/em>, that will be in Cannes at March\u00e9 du Film<\/a>\u00a0this month thanks to the awards won by the project at the recent M\u00e1laga Film Festival, including the Malaga Goes to Cannes Prize and Abycine Lanza Award. In\u00a0<em>DUO<\/em>, the dancers M\u00f3nica and Colate will have to learn how to say goodbye on their last tour, after 24 years of sharing a professional and personal life together.
