{"id":3103,"date":"2019-10-07T13:43:48","date_gmt":"2019-10-07T11:43:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldbrainthefilm.com\/_POLARSTARFILMS2020\/?p=3103"},"modified":"2021-03-24T11:27:56","modified_gmt":"2021-03-24T09:27:56","slug":"idrissa-wins-the-audience-award-at-alcances","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polarstarfilms.com\/en\/idrissa-wins-the-audience-award-at-alcances\/","title":{"rendered":"Idrissa, wins the Audience Award at Alcances"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday, the 51st Alcances Documentary Film Festival in C\u00e1diz closed with the announcement of the Winners.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.polarstarfilms.com\/img\/4news\/Xavi-Artigas-recibe-el-premio-del-publico-Alcances.jpg\" alt=\"Xavi-Artigas-recibe-el-premio-del-publico-Alcances\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Alcances Audience Award 2019<\/strong>\u00a0went to the documentary\u00a0<strong><em>Idrissa, Chronicle of an Ordinary Death<\/em><\/strong>, directed by Xavi Artigas and Xapo Ortega and produced by Polar Star Films and Metromuster.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday the ECCO Patio hosted the screening of\u00a0<em>Idrissa, Chronicle of an Ordinary Death<\/em>, which was attended by director Xavi Artigas, who collected the prize and participated in the Q&amp;A that took place after the screening.<\/p>\n<p>It is not the first prize that\u00a0<em>Idrissa, Chronicle of an Ordinary Death<\/em>\u00a0has won. In recent months it has been awarded Best Documentary Prize at\u00a0<strong>FIC-CAT<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>Montserrat Roig<\/strong>\u00a0Award for journalism and the Screenly Award at\u00a0<strong>Documenta Madrid<\/strong>\u00a02019.<\/p>\n<p>The film, which describes and investigates events that surrounded Idrissa Diallo&#8217;s death at a CIE center in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bwill be\u00a0<strong>released in cinemas on November 15<\/strong>.
