The stars are aligned for us this autumn with a return to the big-screen and video-on-demand for several documentaries and fiction film productions by Polar Star Films.Time Thieves<\/em>, Idrissa Chronicle of an Ordinary Death<\/em>, My Name is Violeta<\/em> & Facing the Wind<\/em> will all be showing this autumn in a variety of national and international programmes.<\/p>\n

Time Thieves<\/em><\/strong> kicks off on 14th October with a new season of Cine Lliure screenings in Barcelona libraries that runs until 26th November. Check out the Cine Lliure<\/a> website for exact dates and locations of these free screenings.<\/p>\n

Facing the Wind<\/strong><\/em> has been selected for the Mujeres de Cine online USA <\/em>traveling film showcase dedicated to promoting Spanish films made by women. Organised by the Spanish Embassy in Washington,\u00a0 Facing the Wind<\/em> inaugurates the programme and can be watched online free by RSVP from 16th to 23rd October.\u00a0 Check out the Spanish Embassy<\/a> website for exact details and to RSVP.<\/p>\n

My Name is Violeta <\/em><\/strong>has a whole host of screenings coming up in Barcelona, Asturias and Berne, Switzerland. Pantalla Barcelona<\/a> has screenings organised from 20th October through to 4th December at several community centres in the Catalan capital. AESEX in conjunction with Asturias Health Service<\/a> have screenings programmed for November, and Queersicht Festival<\/a> in Berne runs from 5th to 11th November. Idrissa, Chronicle of an Ordinary Death<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is next up available, from 22nd to 25th October 18h-18h, to screen free on Vimeo on Demand via a collaboration between Tarifa African Cinema Festival and Parets Town Council.\u00a0 Check out the FCAT website<\/a> for the promotional code.<\/p>\n
