The snow did not relent for the DUO<\/em> film crew, which last week traveled to the centre of Catalonia to shoot additional scenes for the film.<\/p>\n

The director Meritxell Colell, actress M\u00f3nica Garc\u00eda and a production crew of two people needed a cold climate that would imitate the setting of the Argentine Atacama desert, where the film was shot almost entirely in February. But storm Filomena hit the forecast more than we imagined and the team ending up being isolated a few more days than we had anticipated. Some might say that all the elements have been against us, but yet again a door of opportunity opened to embrace the philosophy of cin\u00e9ma verit\u00e9,<\/em> a fundamental for this film, which was interrupted in February due to the confinement caused by the pandemic. Looking forward to seeing it in movie theatres!<\/p>\n

DUO <\/em>is a dance film shoot as a road movie, which explores the relationship between two dancers when they are pushed to their physical and emotional limits high up in the Atacama Desert. This fiction feature film is the second installment of the winning team of the Silver Jasmine Award for >Facing the wind<\/em>.
