The 28th edition of the international festival DocsBarcelona has included in its program two of our most recent films: Mums and Only on earth.
This will be the national premiere of both documentaries, which will compete in the Docs&CAT and Official Section respectively.
In Mums, we follow the journey of Anna (41) and Ari (32), two women determined to become mothers. What initially felt like a straightforward plan turns into a demanding physical, medical, and emotional ordeal. Over more than four years, Ari documents the highs and lows of their experience — a rollercoaster of hope and disappointment. Through humor and deep affection, Mums explores the complexities of later-in-life motherhood, caregiving, and connection when faced with unexpected challenges.
